GALAPAGOS YACHTS & TOURS   Yachts Operation Arrival from Quito or Guayaquil in Galapagos normally occurs at 1 p.m. – 2 p.m. local time. After airport check out and payment of entrance fees and taxes, passengers will be transferred to the yacht (or to Pto Ayora) and welcomed by the crew , followed by guide explanations and first day tour. Next days normally boat start to sail at about 3 a.m. in it´s way to the next island. Arriving at about 6 a.m. Breakfast is served at about 7 a.m. followed by a disembark (wet or dry) in the shores of the island where tour will last for about 2 – 3 hours followed by swimming time. Return to the boat is at about 1 p.m. followed by lunch. in the afternoon navigation towards the next point of visit with swimming and snorkelling activities also.  Snorkelling equipment can be rented on the boat at a cost of us$ 20.- for an 8 day tour, us$ 15 for a 5 day tour and us$ 15  for a 4 day tour. Yachts Classification: Dear Travel Agent: We would like to give you some definitions and clarifications about the Standards of the yachts operating on The Galapagos Islands . European or North American standards are higher than the standards normally defined in Galapagos by yacht owners and this can lead to false expectative, unhappiness and complains from your kind clients. Taking into consideration this very important point we would like first to clarify some definitions about the different category of the yachts used by Unigalapagos and Ecoandes Travel (categories are considering the homologation of the standards used on Galapagos with the European standard): 1)Tourist Class Yachts: These are confortable  yachts for  16 passengers accommodated in double cabins (with  upper and lower beds) with private facilities and air conditioned. These yachts also have a separate bar - dinning room and some have a separate bar area on main deck and resting area (p.e. Amigo). Our Tourist Class Yachts: Amigo.  2)First Class Yachts: These in fact are with comfortable cabins in different categories.
